Baby Clothes

Baby clothes are so cute these days! It cracks me up that companies make "stylish" clothes for babies. Do they know what is in style? I have to say that girl baby clothes are much cuter than boy baby clothes. There is way more to choose from when shopping for the baby girl - although it does seem like everything is PINK. Good thing pink is in! Cousins Kent and Kelli have helped Kennedy with her stylish fashion by purchasing her a onesie with a message - actually a question. A question that she will probably be asking for the rest of her precious life!

6 Weeks Old!

Kennedy was 6 weeks old yesterday. That means we can officially take her places! YEA!!! She went to church this morning for the first time and stayed in the nursery. We tried to take pictures before church but she wasn't having it. She was fussy! Our church has beeper things they give you (like you get when waiting to be seated at a restaurant)and if your child is unbearable, they will beep you during church and you have to come get them! Mark and I were taking bets on how long before they beeped us... but they never did!!!! The nursery workers said she sat in her car seat and watched the little boys roll around on the floor. Then at the very end, she gave the nursery workers a big suprise ... a poop!!!! They were changing her when I walked in to pick her up. Looks like our first church outing was a success!!!

Picture Update

We have had a busy last couple of weeks, so let me catch you up. For the 4th of July weekend, we went to visit Mimi and Papa (my mom and stepdad) and GrandBuddy and Nana (my dad and stepmom). At Mimi's Kennedy got to get dressed in her swimsuit and sit out by the pool. (Not really ... she actually set in the shade with a fan blowing on her, but it sounds good to say she laid out the pool.)

and she laughed and laughed at GrandBuddy!
And on July 7, Kennedy turned one month old.

Blogging!

Okay, so I'm giving in to the blogging world. I guess that is what having a baby does to you! You have less time and feel the need to add yourself to every computer site available!

Kennedy is now a month old and doing well! She is such a sweet little baby! I know everyone says that about their baby but she REALLY is! I love this pic of her. Her "Nana" took it. I love her little expression and her hair sticking up! How cute!
