Friends

The whole White family packed up and traveled to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, this past weekend. One of my best friends, Tiffany, lives there with her husband and one-year old little girl, Tatum. We had a great time! Tatum and Kennedy are going to be best friends - we can tell already! We tailgated before the LSU/MSU game and wore the girls out! Mark and Pete went to the game while Tiff and I took the kids home, ordered take-out and drank a whole bottle of red wine! What a great time!

Photo Shoot!

Kennedy had her first photo shoot on Monday. We had her professional 3 month pictures made at Dejavu Photography. We had to make the appointment for 5 p.m. - her worst time of the day. So, I figured it could be a disaster ... and it pretty much was. She cried the whole time. The amazing thing was that the photographers still got some great pictures of her! Here are just two of many ...

Hand-Me-Downs

I think we have spent a whopping $20 on clothes for Kennedy since she has been born, thanks to HAND-ME-DOWNS!!!! Oh, how I hated them as a kid mainly because I was the one wearing them, but I am loving them now! My sister has two little girls (ages three and one) and she sends me plastic bins full of their old clothes!!!!! It is like a HUGE shopping trip everytime I get a bin. This last time I got 2 large bins of clothes and a bag of shoes ... I even got 2 Halloween costumes!




I organize them by size and pack the bins back up until Kennedy can wear them. It is so much fun to go through all the cute clothes (some still with tags) and she what she will be wearing soon.

Picture Update

It has been a while, so let me update you!

In this picture, Kennedy's babysitter Julie and I were trying to make Kennedy do the cement hand/foot prints. It was a complete disaster and we made a complete mess, but we got a good laugh out of it.


She's had some first lately, she went to her first EMCC football game, sat up by herself in her Bumpo for the first time, wore her ear-protecting headphones for the first time and went to her first MSU gameday tailgate ....






And in the middle of all that, she turned 3 months old! (Thanks Rindy and Scotty for her adorable "JLO outfit"!)

Football???

Okay ... so much for being excited about football season! That game sent Kennedy into tears real quick! (And Mommy and Daddy were soon to follow! Actually Mommy was in tears and Daddy was SCREAMING at the TV!) You're right, Brandi, may be she would look better in red and blue! :) ....better luck next time, Bulldogs!
