O Happy Day!

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.
- Barack Obama

It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get to where we are today, but we have just begun. Today we begin in earnest the work of making sure that the world we leave our children is just a little bit better than the one we inhabit today.

Finally ... Christmas

Okay, so finally I am posting some pics from Christmas. Kennedy had a wonderful first Christmas. We had a great time in Brandon/Clinton and loved spending time with my sister and her girls, who we rarely get to see.

Cute little Abby!

The Bachelor

Okay. So I know Christmas was just over and everyone expects pictures and paragraphs of how Kennedy's first Christmas was ... but, too bad.

The Bachelor starts tonight and I am pumped!!! I absolutely love this show - my all time favorite. (Yes, more than American Idol!) I have watched EVERY SINGLE episode of EVERY SINGLE Bachelor and Bachelorette! I am addicted!

So, Jason, Mr. Bachelor that is a single dad with the cutest little boy ever - do not disappoint! And to the girls - let there be several from the south, one psyhco, one crying maniac and one way too old to be embarrassing yourself like this on national tv. And of course, the one that Jason will fall in love with (at least until the show is over)! I can't wait!

And yes, Kennedy had a wonderful Christmas!

Happy Birthday!

Kennedy would like to wish her Aunt Carolyn a VERY Happy 35th Birthday today! (we made this around 10:00 a.m. this morning but you see how long it took me to get it posted!) We hope you had a great birthday! We love you!
